Florida is the “Fishing Capital of the World” ranked first in the United States for number of saltwater fisherman. There are many tools and techniques to protect our area fisheries. Size, catch limits and seasonal closures help prevent overfishing. Proper release of marine fishes is equally important to conserve this resource.
